English Grammar: Linking Words

We have learned about building sentences in our virtual classes. Now it’s time to see how to connect ideas through what we call Linking Words. The first thing you should know is that words, phrases and sentences may be connected in different ways. We use words known as conjunctions and clause markers to join two or more elements.

Please take a look at the following chart where you will find some clause markers you can look up and learn:
